Visiting Us We have different times for both Dog and Cat adoptions but our online Cat and Dog Centers are open 24 hours a day. Adoption Hours: Cats: Mon - Fri 6pm - 8pm Sat & Sun 2pm - 4pm Dog: Mon - Thurs* 6pm - 8pm Sat & Sun 2pm - 4pm *Please note that dog adoption hours on Fridays are by appointment only. Follow the signs for Route 53 - Bethel, bearing left at the second light Stay on Route 53 and follow for approximately 2 miles until you reach the traffic light with the Sycamore Diner ahead Go straight through the traffic light (this is Grassy Plain Street) and follow for approximately 1 1/2 miles DAWS will be on your right, with a white dog statue and a sign that says "Danbury Animal Welfare" out front.
